Consider integrating the fairgrounds with a countywide business and tourism promotion package.
Solano county supervisors Jim Spering and Linda Seifert are overhauling our old fairgrounds. They are shaping the “Solano 360 – Listen, Inspire & Make It Real” program.
Solano County isn’t big enough for a gigantic promotion budget, but will gain better economy of scale when our seven Solano County cities of Benicia, Dixon, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Suisun City, Vacaville and Vallejo work together. Jim Spering and Linda Seifert are real team players.
The politics of innovation brings everyone together. This is better than the old way of being limited to small groups that might have narrow self-interest. Let’s be flexible and make everyone part of the team. As for myself, my Solano Business Incubator volunteers time and free conference rooms for helping create more jobs and is open to help the Solano Fairgrounds.
